Throughout the course, we have been using the resources we have at our disposal by practicing using our library database to retrieve articles to use as evidence for papers or assignments. Within the time we have left in this class, I hope seen improvement within me in formulating my stance and articulating that throughout my papers and assignments effectively without coming off as knowledgeable of rhetoric practices. Within this unit, we worked on formulating an argument based on a text we read in class or an entirely different topic we have come up with on our own. My selected topic was Domestic Violence within New York City and its effects on minorities and our communities. Within our essays, we apply our knowledge of rhetoric and applying their arguments to see if we can effectively establish who our audience is, How we are trying to appeal to our desired audience, and what our argument is.
